Would you like to look after seafarers in Oldenburg? We look forward to seeing you!

What does our everyday life look like?

Whenever ships come into the Oldenburg port, we contact them and offer the seafarers to take them to our “50 Miles” club with our shuttle service and of course back to the port. We are also happy to take the sailors to the doctor, hairdresser or shopping.

In the club we are there for the sailors in all matters. An open ear is very important. We will help and support you with any kind of problem. You can also just relax, drink a coffee or a beer, watch TV, play table football or karaoke, or communicate with your family via our free Wi-Fi.

However, the sailors often cannot get off board or there is not enough time. Then we come on board and briefly talk to the sailors and/or exchange money, as they are paid in US dollars and the commercial exchange offices are very expensive.

We try to be there for the seafarers 24/7 if we can.

If you have knowledge of English and a valid Class B driving license and enjoy working with people in a variety of ways, then get in touch with us. We look forward to seeing you!
